SOPHIA MACMASTER
(b. 1999) is an Atlanta-based Palestinian-American visual artist, specializing in painting. Represented in their work is the beauty of being Palestinian, feeling generations of their family and the energy of Jerusalem flow through their hands as they create. MacMaster’s intent is to preserve Palestinian joy through their practice, drawing major inspiration from their family’s legacy as printmakers.
In 2021, they received their BFA in Fashion Design with a minor in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
